Feedback: From the families themselves

Matilda helped us through the night, looking after our 10 week old baby girl. She was so gentle and understanding, it really made the nights much easier! With our baby being exclusively breastfed, it also meant more irregular feeds and Matilda really helped differentiate whether she needed a feed or whether she just wanted a cuddle and to be settled. Since our little one loves being cuddled, it was definitely a win-win for us!

Matilda is an incredible doula and we could not have done the challenging early days without her weekly support and I’m not just talking about the sleep (although that was much much needed for our sanity).
Matilda is a really easy going and relaxed person to have in your home. Each week we would look forward to her arrival to talk all things feeding, sleeping and growing. As a new mom each week I had a new concern which was met with a kind and knowledgeable ear to give comfort and when needed suggestions.
Anyone who has a newborn will agree that cooking is the last thing anyone wants to do or has the time to do so the addition of Matilda’s delicious cooking was also greatly appreciated.
All in all we cannot recommend Matilda enough and we will forever be grateful for her doula days with us. She will forever be part of our story.

I had the most amazing experience with Tilly (Matilda), right from when I met her when I was in my 3rd trimester, to when baby was born! Tilly gave me tools to know how best to advocate for myself whilst in hospital. As a result, I had a really good birth experience. Breastfeeding wasn't easy on the initial days, as a first time mum, figuring out the best latch, Tilly was always on the line to help with best positions to breastfeed and more importantly a long term breastfeeding position to help me and baby enjoy the experience and bond we were building. I'm eternally grateful for her support and couldn't recommend her more as a doula! She has great empathy and patience. Thank you Tilly

The loveliest doula! There to help whenever you need with whatever you need. She will give you her time regardless of schedule just to put your mind at ease! Absolutely lovely lady with the most pure soul. I would highly recommend Matilda to be anyones doula!

​There’s are so many words I can use to describe Matilda but she has shown great care on both a personal and professional level for me, my son and my family. Given all the health issues I have had Matilda has been available at every point whether it be virtually or physically and emphasised with me while showing no judgement Which is something very new to me. She has advocated my worries to my partner and family in a way that they understand and has made a major impact in my confidence in myself as a first time Mum. She has supported my breastfeeding efforts and promoted a healthy union with my partner in this new stage of our relationship without any judgement which has greatly helped the way we communicate. Matilda feels more like a sister, which I said on the first day we met her , she also feels like a therapist to me and aunt to my son. If it wasn’t for Matilda I would have given up breastfeeding ages ago. I would still have worries about my son’s weight and more but she quickly puts me at ease. I would not have a voice for me or my son if i did not have Matilda build all that she has in me. In a nutshell she is heaven sent and I cannot imagine moving forward in this mother hood chapter without her. We appreciate and adore her dearly

Tilly was an amazing doula from the moment i was in labour !! When I had realised that the contractions were the real thing she was right on the other side of the phone , giving me tips on how to breath and counting with me right till I pushed my baby out. As a first time mother i had no idea what i was doing when it came to breastfeeding so Tilly would come round and show me what to do and I caught on quite quickly thanks to her. Anything I needed and he was right there , thank you so much for your help

Matilda the Doula is amazing. She has been an Angel sent to me. The support I received from her during this pregnancy has been nothing like my last 2 pregnancies. 100% recommend!
